ANTI-SLIP VARNISH FOR CONCRETE AND MICROCEMENT 2K

  • Durable coating
  • Protects and decorates
  • Chemical and mechanical resistance
  • UV protection

ANTI-SLIP Varnish for concrete and microcement is a two-component, water-based polyurethane lacquer designed to protect and decorate concrete surfaces. It provides excellent adhesion, durability, and resistance to mechanical damage, chemicals, moisture, dirt, and UV radiation. The coating is easy to clean, and heavy dirt such as tire marks can be easily removed. The anti-slip coating minimizes the risk of slipping, making it ideal for high-traffic and high-humidity areas, both indoors and outdoors.

usage

Varnish can be used on:

  • Concrete
  • Microcement
  • Stone
  • Resin and mineral floors
  • Epoxy and polyurethane surfaces

Ideal for:

  • Bathrooms
  • Kitchens
  • Stairs
  • Corridors
  • Terraces
  • Garages
  • Poolside areas

SURFACE PREPARATION:

The surface intended for lacquering should be cured, degreased, clean, and dry; all dirt, grease stains, deposits, and efflorescence must be thoroughly removed.

Mechanically trowelled concrete and smooth, compact surfaces should be roughened to ensure proper adhesion of the coating.

To reduce absorbency, prime the surface with a primer.

To ensure proper lacquer adhesion, sand the dried surface with fine-grit sandpaper and then dust it off before applying the next layer.

APPLICATION METHOD:

Immediately before lacquering, add component B to component A and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Apply the first layer of lacquer to the prepared surface using a roller dedicated to lacquers, spreading it evenly until a uniform layer is achieved, and wait for the coating to dry.

The drying (curing) time of the coating is about 8 hours, depending on the conditions in the application area (temperature and humidity).

After the first layer has dried, apply the next layer of lacquer in the same manner.

A third layer of lacquer is recommended for surfaces particularly exposed to water and weather conditions.
