PUR ENAMEL

Polyurethane PUR Enamel for concrete, microcement, and porous surfaces:

  • two-component,
  • water-based,
  • easy application,
  • chemical and mechanical resistance,
  • protection against moisture and dirt,
  • UV resistance

PUR Enamel is a two-component, water-based, opaque polyurethane paint with a matte effect. It is characterized by high chemical and mechanical resistance and effectively protects the coated surface from moisture and all types of dirt.

Polyurethane enamel successfully protects heavily used floors and walls prone to frequent dirt. It does not yellow and is resistant to UV radiation.

USAGE

Decorative and protective painting:

  • concrete,
  • stone,
  • wood,
  • epoxy resin and polyurethane resin coatings,
  • cement coatings on floors and walls,
  • utility rooms, garages, and basements,
  • industrial and public utility facilities,
  • private buildings.

Surface Preparation:

Thoroughly clean the painted surface from dust, dirt, and residues of old coatings.

Apply to clean, dry, and degreased surfaces.

Smooth surfaces should be sanded to ensure good adhesion of the enamel.

To reduce absorbency, prime the surface with a primer emulsion such as MIX Primer.

Application Method:

Immediately before painting, add component B to component A and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained – use within 2 hours.

Apply the first coat using a roller/brush dedicated to enamels or by spraying and wait for it to dry – drying time is approximately 8 hours.

Immediately before applying the second coat, add component B to component A and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained – use within 2 hours.

Apply the second coat using a roller/brush dedicated to varnishes or by spraying and wait for it to dry – drying time is approximately 8 hours.

Initial strength (foot traffic) – 24 hours. Full strength – 7 days.

Efficiency:

10-11 m²/liter for a single coat (coverage depends on the absorbency and type of substrate, as well as the application method).
